When there's no bluegills(not many gills in the Voyageurs Park,colder "Laurentian Shield" Canadian/Minnesota border waters).....Guess we'll have to eat these guys!....lol!

I agree Mike in that pike are very good in the winter and spring cold waters....after that ,their fillets turn somewhat "yellow" and soft during the hot summer months...these fish were just fine and tasted great!
they are actually pretty good, I know how to cut the "Y" bones out. I don't keep too many though, as top predators they tend to accumulate more envirornmental toxins from all the fish they eat.
