Thanks for the tip! I will try that next time I can get some clear water. I love using the long pole, but I just need more practice, and more patience.

try those patterns on a size 10 i think it would work ,,,,use a real slow strip-pause-strip

These are 1/0 hooks. I have yet to catch a fish on a fly rod, but I absolutely refuse to give up. Ive tied some others, but I know I need the practice.
