Cardell, that's a good-looking fish.  If you can bite the bullet and cut back to once or twice a week fishing, your fish will bite better.  I don't own a pond myself, and I probably wouldn't be able to keep myself away from it if I did...But I do manage some ponds that I have permission to fish, that have some pretty big bluegill in them, and I manage to only let myself fish them a handful of times a year because when I get those bluegill to two pounds I want them still to bite...

yes, the one in this pic was just caught last week. i fish about 45 minutes to about an hour and a half daily. I dont always make post but the fish are doing very well. I am happy with here growth rate

Pretty little male. Seeing him lying there on the wood, makes me think of the old joke about cooking mud hens on a plank.
