Yes they do make 2 different thicknesses. I like the heavier one best because I can cast it farther out and it gets down into the "fish zone" quicker. Also John, I use a dropper double-overhand loop knot rather than a swivel. If you retrieve it back slow and steady to get the best wobbling action, it does not twist your line. Having it tied on to a loop knot, the spoon will have maximum action. Just that slow and steady retrieve drives those panfish crazy. I sometimes get 2 or 3 strikes before they finally get hooked!
I have two .Recently bought a red 5 O'Diamonds/Yellow unused yet . A worn out red/white( guessing 64th oz) stripe has caught before tipped w/worm piece. They make 2 gauges of Skeeters maybe. 32&64? not sure.
