Blue crabs boil for five minutes in seasoned water and then turn off heat and soak for 20 minutes for best flavor , shrimp, sausage and other items will cook while the crabs are soaking, lifetime tradition growing up in Louisiana

Indeed Mikey-D, working at the Navy yard I network with many of my neighbors to the north in Virginia, love the big oyster festival in Urbana…..and lots of blue crabs out of the Chesapeake bay and it’s tributaries, the largest estuary in the United States…
