Yup Jeffrey I was one of the doubters of the larger hooks , but you showed me the light and the rest is history as they say!!!!! You just can't argue with success in whatever form or color combo it comes in. When I originally came up with the Micro's ," SILENT STINGERS" , years ago I had a fella tell me they wouldn't catch big gills cause the hooks were to big,and they were #12's. I'd like to show that old timer some photos now! One of my favorites then and still now is the Chartruese and black combo Micro. IF I'm not catching fish on Purple bead heads it is my next bug without exception. Just caught to many fish on em not to try em ......

As chartreuse is also a long time favorite of mine...we debated over it and the "Pasquotank Sunrise" stinger was born and caught over a 100 fish the first week and is now a staple in my box.....I believe I will ultimately be the happiest with a # 10 pictured here or a # 8.......I reserve a # 12 for cold water applications.....This was a hard concept to embrace for folks that have always had success going smaller.

THANK YOU for the answer I knew was coming. I've heard that complaint before and dismissed it because of my own humble success with these baits. I may do half my production for next year in this size just for fellas like you Jeffrey, who prefer em bigger.

I'm hoping tomorrow you will definately try the other colors and let me know what happened.
