Do you love big bluegill?
First time dedicating fishing time to the Carl Hendrix rascal......a beige one tipped with a live grass shrimp shallow in 55 degree tanic water......This bait is going to work just fine......

Amen to that Tony.....you always make reference to pressured/unpressured fish and I totally agree with your observations........This one came on a rascal Carl.....cricket colored.......he pounded it! Nice lip hook set and I like how the rascal is fishing, got a good feel to it........
you have got a real honey hole if your catching one pounders Jeff!! would love to fish there to!! LOL!!
Gotta' love those unpressured, easy marks. Makes all the difference in the world.
This gills was caught in the same spot that the fish in my profile picture was caught last May.......has been an amazing location for more than 15 years in a row........I have never seen another angler fishing for gills in this particular area and can't believe it.......
A sign of things to come.......bumping flooded cypress is my favorite way to fish......and I've talked about the public waters in North Carolina before........
