i thought about the full moon brother Jim i have not seen a single bluegill bed yet in my last 2 outings i just don't know whats going on here in Ohio i have not been out at all this spring i pinched a nerve in my back and have not been fishing much

Tink...as recently as this past Thursday I have caught bluegills and shellcrackers that are still holding eggs...full moon coming up, so we might see a spike in spawning activity in my Mid-Atlantic waters.

skinny bull caught this morning notice the McGinty fly in his mouth im sure these are males that are guarding  fry they are pretty lean i have read reports our lake gills have not spawned yet but i think they have this late .. if you   find male gills after the spawn guarding fry or feeding after the spawn action can be wicked
