Vic, I actually have a third Pflueger reel ,a Supreme with 4# test on it now .It's paired with a sweet St Croix lite rod. It's new this year and so far  I got a bunch of Perch and Pseeds , Gills and  my biggest fish this year .(a 22" Pickerel) Shimano Sensilite rod  has the UL Pflueger on it and I caught a few Trout the other day on it .The Sensilite is a favorite of mine . Great small Trout and Panfish rod .Gills feel great and so do Crappie and Perch! Decent sized Bass are awesome on it !

John i usually use Shimano Spirex 1000 or 2000 series reels, but at Christmas my wife bought me two new Bass Pro shops Extreme 1000 series reels and two Micr lite rods 6 ft med lite rods which seem to be pretty good combination..I really want to try a new Peen Battle but they only make them in 2500 size and up..any way good fish and good luck

James, I realize my fish is small(a bit under 8") but you dont have to make fun of the ULight qualities of the catch Lol! 4lb test /Shimano Sensilite Rod...wish I could find an acceptable thin 2 # test line. Stren ,I dont like ,heard bad things about Trilene.
