Now THAT sounds like an enjoyable time! I'll give you a heads up when I know I'm headed that direction!

That's the one Tony :) You're ever up this way again, give me a shout. Usually hit that place every month. I'm about 15 minutes from there. Special was fried chicken tonight...

Hey Bill - Your pic inspired me. Wife gave me a funny look when I pulled out the cell phone camera at dinner tonight and took this menu shot :)

I wonder how many fillets you get for $13.95?

So Bill I take it these fish are probably imported from Canada....I just assumed that gills are a protected gamefish in Wisconsin?

No Tony....the hand written menu was simply a list of specials....The name of the restaurant is the Fireside located in Kenosha Wisconsin.....and definitely not a paper plate/plastic cup establishment....I did NOT order the bluegills as that would have been uncivilized, and would've damaged the moral fabric of bluegill fishing.....I opted for the fried lake perch, and my fiance had the stuffed shrimp....of course we had the cheddar balls for an appetizer, and a few adult beverages to wash it all down....I could only rate the perch as a 6 on a ten scale, but I can say that by moving to Wisconsin, I can now go out and have a peaceful dinner without being recognized and interrupted for autograph requests.....

I love this but I have to ask..... was dinner served on a paper plate, eaten using a plastic "spork", and washed down with a red solo cup of your favorite beverage?

Sonds like my kind of place.
