Some creeks still suffering from mild to moderate hypoxia behind the high water from Tropical Storm Michael.......did locate two areas with active tidal crappie......here's a pair of 13" class crappie caught on a hot pink belly spinner/live minnow combination.....

Hoping to visit this location later this week........things are setting up nicely for a falling wind tide which could set up a major frenzy.........fingers crossed
Thanks Tooty and Carl.........we have been blessed this year to miss the big damage as many of our neighbors have been devastated...........The the locally is actually better than a normal fall because the churn of bait is crazy and the fish are trying to take advantage..................it's a real good time when you can cross paths with active fish like the ones pictured here..............
OH YEA !!! THESE WILL DEFINITLY WORK !! NICE PAIR OF SLABS !
Nice catch Jeffrey , congrats to ya buddy......Glad the storm didn't get ya.
A great start to an October morning..........I love to see the float go down in the dark tannic waters during the Fall.........the big calico slabs surface after the shallow hook set...........just a few more weeks and the season's strong cold fronts will push them to the deepest water......................
