JA - thnx, the tire reefs consist of used tires from the equipment that built the reservoir. Being a man made lake there isn’t a whole lot of structure so they improvised. The last two years they have surrounded the area with orange tree stumps chained to cinder blocks. Seems to be working really well with attracting fish and a lot of jigs.

Another nice LP fish. How did the tire reef come about? Seems like a really neat idea that someone came up with. Its refreshing to read about options to sustain a particular fishery.
