The lake has many islands and pennisulas around the edges as well as shallow flats with flooded Cypress so looks can be deceiving. The lake is down quite a bit right now so things look different from time to time.....You may notice the sand bars out behind the closest trees. Big area to hunt bedding gills but you catch some beautiful fish once you find them.....

One of my favorite spots back in the Eighties......I still look forward to getting out on Moultrie when I get the chance. I remember the first day I went to Moultrie in 1982 out by the hatchery and I've been hooked ever since!!!
