Thanks Jim......haven't seen a gator in this creek yet but that doesn't mean anything.....huge snapping turtles are numerous in this body of water and bass are a little careless when they begin tailing in shallow water.....could have bumped into all the heavy cover during a chase or escape.......great blue heron might have struck......hard to say...
