Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The pontoons are foam filled. The engine is a 25hp merc. I've done every bit of rebuild/ maintenance I can afford... and I'll fire it up tomorrow, after I replace the lower end oil. It ran fine last time it was fired up, 6 mos ago.

I took another look and see the outboard and the controls. Thought it was electric power. Man, what a rig!!!!

No bow deck: it would tear the boat apart hitting water @50mph! but the pontoons are wide, and standing on them is no problem. The bimimi top folds back, and both seats detach, and could be strapped to something, if I needed an open deck for throwing net. Right on P'cola bay here...be hitting the shrimp hard when they run! Going to fill the freezer with flounder! But first... I'm hauling it to Dead lakes in Wewa... plenty good bream!

FREE... my uncle bought it without an engine for $400, put 2 grand [HE says] into it... and then ended up with a Boston whaler he dumped WAYYYY too much money into... the bottom line: hooking it up to my truck and kissing it goodbye kept his woman from leaving, and he gets to keep the whaler. She'll change her tune when he hits the redfish/flounder/specs/shrimp... until then, he's walking on eggshells! And he knows this boat is right for me... he's taken me fishing since I was 5 years old... this was a real gesture of love. An old fisherman to an ALMOST old fisherman. Hats off to uncle Jim! He may be a salt water fisherman, but he's all heart... NOW, I just hope he doesn't borrow it when I need it!
