Jeffery, the 5 lber wasn't caught with rod and reel, it was caught by hand when draining a pond. Still an impressive creature, for sure, but doesn't qualify for the record.

....and 15.5 inches long! I've only received pictures of this fish, but will actually get to hold the replica in my hands in the next few days. If you're interested I'll post a few more angles.
