Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Nailed this one pulling spinners/crawlers for walleyes on Deer Lake. It now hangs in my office.

Deer Lake in Itasca County, Minnesota. Special regs are in force there, protecting these special fish, allowing anglers to harvest only 5, in stead of the normal limit of 20.
This photo appers in a lot of Northland Tackle stuff, as I'm on their Pro Staff.

Deer Lake in Polk Co? Class A Musky lake.

Very nice fish! Good photo for Panfish Guide coverbook! Look like bigger 'gills from off shore! Same story that Al Lindner from In Fisherman fished for walleye and got some big bluegills on leech!
Try leech! Let us know from your future fishing report!
