I caught the bass on a 1/8 oz chrome blue rattle flash spoon. The bigger gills also took the spoon. The catching was consistent throughout the day. We released several gills so I started trying to see what they would hit most consistently. I tried gill pills, diamond jigs, and rat finkees which all worked. The bigger gills seemed to like the southern pro bream bugs in black/chart. sparkle and brown on a 1/32 oz glow jig head. Dead-sticking didn't produce a thing. They all needed a little jiggin'! :-)
