bill;; yes sir;;by the time I eventually get to all of them; they get a small bit magnetized;;  but I haven't found it to be a problem yet.  and I put the beads on my hooks; drop them in the  bowl and everything stays together till I need it. I can turn it upside down ; nothing falls out.  usually I might have 3 or more different size hooks beaded up; and in the bowl; spaced out. I have 2 of those bowls  with at least 3 different size hooks in each bowl.  I have tried other things to help keep beads and such together;; so far;; this is the best for me

You know I've been thinking about getting one of these...do the hooks end up being magnetized?  Usually my vise stand ends up full of beads and hooks.  I also have the new Hareline mat that is kind of dimpled to keep beads from squirting around...

I will usually put the beads I need like you do, but instead of dropping into a bowl, I poke the hook into the cork stopper I use for the finished flies.  I typically only do about 6 or so at a time, though.
