This is where the olive colors that Jim has imitated very successfully cam from.......

I'm eager for the next Grass Shrimp hatch this Spring.....this female is carrying a bunch of microscopic babies...

Great looking imitation Mike and really like it ! I tried one last night and didn't like my attempt so won't even put a pic up.

Mike...that's a great looking shrimp imitation!

Pretty cool looking Mike and it even appears to be weedless........

UNBELIEVABLE SHOT JEFFREY and I"ll work on that this week and looks like the pattern needs to be larger than I previously made. I have a solution for the subtle pink hue to this and will post a shot tomorrow sometime of a imitation................

That's why the grass shrimp pattern jigs are so effective...even without bait tipping. Duplicate size and color and it's gametime!

You two are on to something good!

Pink and Olive no less Jim....many of the shrimp I scooped in Louisiana growing up looked like this....one of the reasons I fish pink artificial baits so hard now.....

Comment by Jim Gronaw on October 21, 2012 at 7:18pm

Do I see a slight pinkish hue to that shrimp?
