Just a great day trip to slip through the Cypress and bump the trees with crawlers or crickets.....Plenty snakes in this body of water!

This is the same Spillway from last Summer David......you know how these swamp areas collect that Duck Weed but still a beautiful place....Looks better with the green cypress and flowers!

ahhhhhhh so swampy so fishy looking man i'm dying to go i wil have to do it in the near future big un must swim those waters and it has that primitive untouched look love it.thanks jeffrey

This is a great example of an active spillway John. My first instinct is to fish the spillway when the water is up enough to flow!

That looks very similar to many waters in the southern Delmarva, minus the gators!

We gotta' fish together, my friend!

Dink I'm told that folks have seen gators in there but I never have. I have seen more Gators (Four different animals) in the Rivers around Northeast North Carolina this year. Not sure why, even a 10 footer on the upper Pasquotank only 35 miles east of Merchants millpond. Thanks for the question.
