JS - not sure about local, this fish was caught further down the dam. BG appears to have healing marks from spawning. All the fish coming off the dam are really healthy.

Maybe they don't see as much pressure as other areas and the water movement like you said. Plus all the food I wouldn't see any reason to move, why move away from the food :)

LedHed- I know his tail is closer to the camera's lense than his body, but it sure seems that the BGs in that spot have larger tails than fish caught in other spots on the lake.  Is it possible that there are "resident" fish that stay in that area where there is constant water movement and their tails have gotten slightly bigger to help them swim in the current?  They seem to fight stronger too.  Maybe I've been out in the sun too long...
