JG - yep, it's the one that got a big slab for me.

No disrespect to the BG – They are all nice, just some are nicer than others.

JS - it's just starting. The weather/water won't settle down - water is still in the upper 60s.

david - check out Jim Simpkins photos....

BGs are staging and trying to spawn. Still feeding in frenzies (mostly around the hatches). In the other pic I posted shows where; to the left of me is a mesa all the way to the trees that is 9’ to 7’ foot with sporadic long weed growth (just blue stoned the lake last week). We are anchored (ipilot) off a channel in 14’ casting over the flats, counting down to about 6 or 7 and reel back slowly. We stick a cricket or a mealworm on the jig also.

2lb test and small jigs with #8 or #6 hooks. This trip I was using Tecton 2lb. line.

So how were you fishing the jig. What was your presentation, and in what sort of locale?
