Thanks John

The platform under te seat will be extended maybe 4" to the rear. This will allow me to scoot back a bit and open up some desperately needed legroom

Ill add a seat with a back to that extension and open a up a bit more comfort for this tubby old amgler..

Ken- The rod rack is actually a coat hangar I picked up at Target. I cut it down as you see it. Its aim is to keep the rod tips secure while afloat. Other ideas tried would hold the rod tips, but wouldn't let them go - they held too tightly! Since I cannot get up and scamper around the Blue Beast to release a rod tip, I had to go with this idea. It does what was wanted. Phase II is a way to hold the butt ends in place; Ive got a few ideas along that line.

Carl - I'm the motor! A sausage biscuit and some grits and Im good to go.

There is nothing I would like better than a 14'-15' aluminum v-hull, decked jon boat, complete with motor and all the fittings. And a truck to pull it with. But It isn't in the cards, So I make do.
