This is what I was referring to Tooty…..In North Carolina this is a non gamefish species that most people target here…the white perch….since they’re not classified as a gamefish there is no limit on them……same as yellow perch here………if you go to a boat ramp here in June and see five trailers, it’s a safe bet that three of the boats are targeting white perch, one bass and the other will probably be salt water angler…..

It’s nice to have quality gills in public waters……thank goodness for white perch here, that’s what most people fish for….
