Longear variation?
This again was caught by another angler in another river system not far away. This one is distinctly different from the longears that I find in the Pascagoula. Not sure if this is just a variation or possibly even a redbreast variation. Or something altogether different?

Rivers and creeks are my favorite place for a good variety. In one single creek I've caught Warmouth, Bluegill, Redear, Longear, Redbreast, Shadow Bass, and Crappie. They typically don't grow as big in the creeks around my area, but other parts of the country, rivers can hold some big ones.
