The other website is Riverbassin.com. Its dedicated to bass fishing in rivers, but on trip reports people often catch other species and some of the sunnies found in our rivers and creeks are very cool.
Here's a couple links to some cool lookin sunnies

Thanks for the comment,Jeff! The other forum sounds great ..care to post a link?
After reading what you've had to say, I am curious if Longears range to NE New Jersey Lakes and Streams!?

Redbreast and Longear are two different species. Yours is definitely a classic redbreast though. I can't say 100% on mine, but I'm pretty sure from what I've researched that the pic of mine is referred to as a Longear. I have found redbreast in the same streams I fish though and they look very similar to yours as well. I don't have any pics of them though. There are also some variations that are very unique that I can't say for sure which is which. I'm trying to get permission to post some pics from a fisherman from another forum I frequent that has some pics of some of the most brilliantly colored Longears that I've seen and they look very differnet from both of our pics. Hopefully I'll have them up later today.

Here's a photo that looks similar. I refer to this fish as a Red Breasted Sunfish ...I'm curious, are they the same species? The top of your fish has very nice blue spots which mine doesnt have . And I can't tell if yours has the greenish/while highlight on the tail like mine does.

Yep. We call them Redbellies here in N. Florida. They are my favorite - great eating and a very handsome fish.
