Do you love big bluegill?
I have nearly 50 of the small red/white floats but the heavier line I use ends up cutting through them in just an hour or two.....

Ronnie,
Ive used a razor knife to cut floats like that myself. I like that you mention it.
Im a big believer in slow fall rates for blluegill lures. I find I can hardly find a light enough jig head, one that will suit me. Im looking around now for a few syringes to fit some old needles I have. This way I can inject the soft plastics with air - and adjust the fall rate that way.
These jigs work great.....the only down side is throat hooking bigger fish because of the smaller size 1/100th.......This is my preferred method for telescopic jig fishing for bluegill......It can be deadly...the only thing you must figure out is what color.......dark water I always start with pink or chartreuse.......Thanks Ronnie........I've fished them on the brush piles in Santee Cooper for hundred fish days.......just tight lining from a bream buster......lots of versatility with this little bait........They're expensive little kits but I usually get the season out of one.........big gills and bass just destroy the small tails or eat them......
Jeffrey I like those floats. I found some for fly fishing that have a cut down one side so you can slide it onto the line. Works great so you may still be able to use those floats.
How do you like the shad dart jigs? Just bought a mold for the 1/8 and 1/4oz to use crappie fishing and thinking about the smaller sizes also.
