Around 20 ft out is a thick mat/wall of weeds about 10ft wide. There are tons of small gills and small bass hiding in there. I did hook up with something further out past the weed line but it got off the hook.

So in this case water usage or power generation takes the lake level down? Probably doesn't hurt the deep water fishing.
