Jig of the day....
3mm Tungsten, tipped with a couple spikes. Found fish in 14-18 ft of water, and they would chase the bait up 4-5 ft easily.

That's one of my favorite northern California set ups ....
spring thru summer. in winter I bottom bounce them after finding weeds.
I come up 4-5 inches and get slammed !!!! you get one shot at hook up with waxies tho....
