Nice 8.5 inch gill that blasted a slow falling live cricket in 5 to 6 feet of water. I fished without a weight and most strikes were coming deep at approximately 4 feet......

This gill was probably aided by the black spot in the fin to avoid predators......gives the appearance of two eyes!
