Thanks Greg!....I really don't take "that" many images per outing.....an average day would be around 60 or 70 if even that many.....just that the lake that I went to has crystal clear water and I knew that I wanted some pics of the "greener' bottom background....one doesn't get that in the dark stained waters of some other lakes....plus a "calm water" day is especially nice for taking those underwater fish images....some of those images the camera "auto focuses" on the fish 3' down....It was a good day and I ended up with some decent images...every outing is different with the camera(s)...you never know what each day is going to offer....

John, I have often wondered how many pictures you took on an outing. Never asked but now you have answered that question. Great picture, I still think you are a FISH WHISPERER. Thanks for sharing more of your camera techniques.

Amature photog I guess one could say.....certainly not a professional...self taught through the years....been taking photos of nature/wildlife subjects for years....The more images and time spent in the "field" the better one becomes....most important item (for me) would be the "composition" or how a photo is "put together"....very important!.....It's what makes an image "interesting"....Waiting for "that perfect" moment!....Lighting is important also.....I took 216 images of the gills I landed yesterday......deleted about half of them.....I just mix my 2 passions together of fishing and photography!......then their's winter when I'm chasing great gray owls around....lol!
