That's a terrific bluegill management device considering such light line being used. Congratulations.

LOL High tech talk who cares? I want a bluegill like that bass!
She jumped real nice Lance and tried to get me into branches in deeper water ...I pushed the boat away with the motor on low and said aloud to my two partners,"I'm gonna lose this fish"...but big brother Greg said,"take it easy"! and I lipped her shortly thereafter.I was using six lb. test and a little worried that I had some nicks in the line from use.

I was just trying to wow you with some hi-tech talk. Don't listen to a thing I say. Nice fish.

Lance, had to look up hemorhagic septicemia never heard of it.Fish virus huh!
I didnt realize this beauty was bleeding on the one side ...my boat partners noticed it before me.I was looking at the redness in the tail before release, looked as if more than a few nests were made by this 20" trophy. She took a Hula Popper deep just before dark. She was released to swim away hopefully to live a long life and wow another fisherman.
