Gills been at least 40+ feet deep off rockpiles eating bugs and mussles. We dont fish for numbers we fish for size

The water clarity is an easy 20 feet deep on a good day. This is a striper and largemouth bass lake and I guess only the bigger fish survive and even then we see 1+ pound gills in the throats of small 2-3lb stripers belly up
