John- Go to my photo page and you can see the actual jig I used. The shad colored one with the red eyes. Awesome lure.
Tobias- Yes, it fought really great on my little ultralight rod and 2 lb. test line! But I was hoping it was a Bluegill. I actually thought it was when I first got a glimpse of it. I thought "here's my Lake Perris 3 pound Bluegill"
But I cannot complain with a crappie that big!

18" WOW! Biggest I've seen Crappie here in New Jersey is 16" 2-2&1/2 lbs. What did she hit?
