280 yards is a great shot one you should be real proud of. My Best shot was 375 yards on a trip in Canada 2007. That was with a 308 winchester The deer was 8 points 185 pounds

this was my first buck and i shot it in the same season as my first doe. It was at 280 yards and i dropped it. I also used a 243. It is a six point with a broken off tip. He was a old buck and his teeth were worn down to a nub and his antlers were scraped and broken. I am the only outdoor person in my family and i love to hunt fish shoot guns play golf and any other outdoor activity. I hope one day that i can pass this on to my kids and keep the line of hunting and fishing going.

like i said about the other picture details man details I could never figure out if I would rather fish or hunt. Now you take a deer steak and blue gill fillays there is no better surf and turf. Oh and by the way nice deer was dad just a little proud
