I believe in catch and release...Catch em and fillet em and release in hot grease...LOL

My parents lived on Toledo Bend for twenty years and man do we have the memories from that lake. It was truly a spectacle to catch the size and numbers we did both trolling in the Spring and on deep (25 feet or greater) brush piles in the winter....I miss that Crappie fishing but I have better Gill fishing in the Carolinas so I consider it a win/win. I fish several other species as conditions dictate but from April through October I'm on the hunt for gills......Nothing wrong with this mess of Crappie though!

Most were around 3/4 of a lb to a lb .. you guys are in some of the best crappie waters down in LA. I watched a show from Touledo Bend yesterday and wow makes me want to come down and try it....
