Paul the handle works out good, once and a while I check the rings to make sure their tight, it also works good for different weight reels to balance them out. it's a great little rod

Mark ...thanks I just ordered the two piece, I like the Tenn handle, do you get any reel slippage wth those two reel holders? I have a three piece combo built on a tiger eye blank, it's 5'3 it's definitely a spinning rod, can barely load any fly line ..thanks again for the review I'll let ya know how my new one works out ..

Hi Paul this is the rod, I might have a different reel on it in this pic with different line , TFO fly/spin rod

Hi my wife and i was in my Grumman 12' alum with a 2.5 Yamaha, we was in the stream that goes in to the lake, i was going slow with the boat and working my arm back and forth, the rabbit strip jig kinda suspends in the water and drops slow usually thats when they hit it. i had on floating fly line,that combo works good.Sleepy

Sleepy- now that is the way I like to fish, in a boat with a fly rod. Your having my kind of fun, I have got to come out and visit you.

Hi the style tennessee handle used on usually on a ul rods and ice rods or combo fly/ spin  rods, some you tape the reel on this one on mine has the slip rings

Hi the rod is a TFO fly/ spinn combo ul rod.Yes i love the handle on the rod it works great with the slip rings.Sleepy
