Worms are the bait for them that is for sure. I use a micro slider rig for them, myself, but have caught them split shotting.

Real good 'Cracker, Tony. Those split shot rigs are my favorite when the bite is slower, or with spooky fish. Congratulations on your catch.!

They love some redworms!!! Caught this fish in 2 feet of water, split shot rig, 8 pound fluroclear!!

Those are the ones I dream about, and you DO NOT forget the details involved in catching that fish. Great catch and way over a pound I'm guessing. Technique??
