Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

These are micro-bloopers, akin to the Arbogast Jitterbugs we're all familiar with.
They are direct-purchase from the Chinese supplier, as I've not seen any domesticated with anything like them. They have sharp hooks, internal rattles, and come in appealing colors.
Weight: 1/8oz./4.0 grams
Length: 1.5", tip-to-tip

You can see they are no bigger than the end of your thumb, their length placing them right in the middle of bluegill search pattern size.
I'm thinking they will probably attract bluegill for a strike, come Spring

No replacing hooks. - they'll go as is and well see what happens.

As search baits, the way you describe, they should do fine once the water warms. You nailed their intended purpose nicely.

You're not gonna replace those hooks with nice Mustads huh?

If they don't hook a fish they'll still be a great search bait before following up with an other baited rod. The topwater plugs sometimes really help reveal active fish.
