Very pretty Sunfish and they were active today on the North River.....

These fish are first to spawn in our region from the sunfish family and they were active today.....most were caught shallow on a pink arkie jig head with a bubblegum squirmin' squirt tail and live cricket combo.......they were inhaling this big offering.......

I love them too, they seem to be very aggressive, not very common in my state though. Talk about a beautiful fish though.
