I love to catch gills where the body is growing through to the tail.....the round dynamic is awesome on gills....I first thought this fish was a lot bigger after the initial hook set and subsequent fight but once landed I could clearly see why........The fish in this particular creek have passed on the genes because I have caught them consistently for 13 years......makes me feel good about the fish I have released back in these waters over the years.

Thanks Tony....she hasn't quite reached 9 inches yet but she is very tall.....I liked the body dynamics on this hen...She was released with all the others today.....
