Thanks Slip.........we continue to have amazing success with the fliers.........both numbers and quality.......I find myself targeting them more often than any time in memory..........on a recent trip two of us caught just short of a 100 on a single lay down in six feet of water..........very aggressive! These are  resilient fish having no trouble surviving the periods of  hypoxia that we see on the Estuary from time to time.........In 2003, thousands of dead freshwater gamefish were scattered across the marsh behind Hurricane Isabel but the Wildlife Commission tallied zero Fliers in that inventory........amazing when nearly 90 percent of the abundant largemouth died including many above ten pounds..........
