My son's first fish, a hefty 4" Bluegill. Reeled it in himself - didn't want or need a hand. I'll remember this day the rest of my life - proud Dad and looking forward to the next 40 years of feeding his new found addiction. What a stud!

This same thing happened to me when I was 8 yrs old......I've haven't had much luck breaking the addiction ever since.
