Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The Little River is averaging 79 degrees right now and it is a little turned over in the swamp sections from recent rains...this tends to make for dead areas with low oxygen....

I hear you Tony...this river may make it to the high 30s during an extremely cold winter for us...too close to the warm waters of the Atlantic....Although archived photos from the 1800s show vehicles driving on ice in the Pasquotank River....That's a once in a century moment...

They talk alot about humidity down South but does that matter when it gets to 115.....I'm thinking not! Does it start to break soon?

It was super hot in South Carolina the last month but I had a very comfortable weekend here in North Carolina in the low 80s.....that's why I was excited about the lowering water temperatures.......Fall fishing can start early and last a little longer maybe....I know Tony is working against me.....he probably has his Christmas tree up already!  LOL

A peaceful place on the border of the Pasquotank and Perquimans Counties in Northeast North Carolina.....Much of the shoreline is undisturbed which makes it a desirable place to wet a line.....
