Well, I'll wait for a project Bruce suggested to me for you to get the full info on how to catch them! no bobber is one. hint--try catalpa worms, if you can get them up north!

Real cool! Made a copy to Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward, Wisconsin! I have an old Outdoor Life magazine article. The Sneaky truth about big bream! Coke Mckenzie is one of early bluegill fisherman that I learned from him to use several whole redworms and no bobber to fool big bluegills!

Glad that you joined the Big Bluegill Club!

Pictured in the photo are my mother, Claudia McKenzie Arnold, and uncle, Coke "Marshall" McKenzie, Jr along with the record at the time 4 lb 10 oz Bluegill that grandpa, Coke McKenzie caught at Ketona Lake. One day, I may "sneak" over there and drop a line and try my luck! I am so glad I found this site! Thanks Bruce for giving me an outlet to explore the love of the Bluegill.
