Do you love big bluegill?

It never ceases to amaze me how many people have never heard of a fishing emergency.
i love catching fish on little waters as this... hence i always keep a rod and tackle in my cars at all times... ya never know!
i remember pulling over to a spot after grocery shopping with my daughter and grandson and she looked at me and said "DAD NO" ... i remember it as a first cast pike and them we left.
Wish it had been a little more; it was just starting to get nice when I left. Sleeves were overkill already. Kids were running around in shorts and Ts. I figured that driving 3 hours (1.5 each way) to drop his friend off, stopping for a few minutes wasn't too much to ask, but he was anxious to get back. Me catching something made him even more impatient - "you got your fish; let's go". Way back once upon a time I though he was going to be my future fishing buddy, but he really doesn't care for it.
way to go Andy! good to see your getting out fishing a little!!
The creek below is not very big but there is a nice looking pool just a few yards below the spillway. He was drifting a bobber into it.
Spillways can offer crazy good fishing during the spring.
We saw a little chain this morning too.........Nice
