Do you love big bluegill?

This one is a little bigger than the ones I use for Bluegill. It's also pretty beat up. The tail has been repaired several times. It's tied with hackle tips and spinner-bait skirt for the tail. The paint job is done with mesh from the hobby store and the eyes just glue in.

John- They work really good. You can also use a short piece of tubing and glue them in each end; Tie them into a pattern like dumbbell eyes but they add no weight.

Hey John- The eyes are pretty robust. They have a quarter-inch long post on the back. I use a small brass rod (same size as eye post) and melt a socket, then super-glue the eyes in. I have lost a few by banging them against the rocks.

Looks great!!I imagine the fish knock those eyes off after a few catches.
