First Fish of open water 2024 was a fine Mama Pickerel.26.5"Close to store by some entering water from March snow melt.

Thanks Jeff! It was quite an ungraceful humorous scene when I dropped the net in the water and was pushed around with the wind in the light 10 foot rowboat. I landed her by hand and retrieved the floating net. The little hook on the light Spin Jig held well. Figures it would hit the one of three rods that didn't have a Steel leader. I was actually throwing this Lure for Crappie which I didn't get.

Was thinking Crappie but Mama Pickerel was there by the stream inlet and took the Split Tail/Jig Spin.
