072614- BLUEGILL TRIP

so i focused on bluegills today on my favorite bluegill lake where they recently applied herbicide knocked down all the weeds and scattered the fish. scratched out a decent showing with a 9.2 inch hog. the fish were laying deep and close to the bottom. i used a gulp pink maggot tipped ice fishing jig to dig them out. for awhile i thought it was the dead sea.
